Pacific Horizon in Receivership
Sadly, one of our main business partners was put into receivership last week.
On 15 July 2013 receivers were appointed to sell Pacific Horizon's assets and recover outstanding debt on behalf of secured creditors.
We were one of the first partner companies to be informed of Pacific Horizon's receivership. The receivers at KordaMentha contacted us on Monday to advise that our clients would not be able to collect their campervans from then on. They also informed us, that it was unlikely any of our future bookings could be honoured.
It's an understatement to say that it was shocking to get this news. Pacific Horizon was a very trustworthy, reliable and high quality rental provider. We worked closely with the entire Pacific Horizon team and their friendly customer service will be truly missed.
Pacific Horizon offered a unique fleet of functional and innovative campervans and motorhomes. When selling their vehicles, we could be assured that our clients were in for a great experience and taken care of professionally.
After the first shock, our team worked hard to contact all our clients who booked with Pacific Horizon. It was not a pleasant experience to advise our clients of the circumstances, especially when their pick up was within days.
Luckily, we were able to re-book almost 90% of our clients with alternative rental providers. We are currently still busy with assisting other Pacific Horizon travelers with their campervan search and I'm sure it will stay busy over the next days.

We were to hire a campervan on 7th October, Payment was not due until September,but we sent a cheque in July. I cannot believe you would accept this cheque when the business was in trouble , we are pensioners, and we have lost $2500.00. So ,very unhappy with Pacific Horizon
